Sensory Art Sessions- Little Ones 6-12 Months, Thursday Mornings

$90.00

Thursday Mornings from 9am-10am. September 10th, 17, and 24th.

Designed for little ones 6-12 months old.

  • Session Length: 3 Weeks

  • All Materials Included

This sensory art session is a play-based experience designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and early development in a safe, nurturing environment. Each class invites babies and their caregiver(s) to explore a variety of age-appropriate sensory materials, textures, colors, sounds, and movement through hands-on art experiences.

Activities may include finger painting with taste-safe materials, exploring textured fabrics and natural objects, stamping, water play, sensory bins, bubble art, music, and simple process-based crafts. The emphasis is on exploration rather than creating a finished product, allowing little ones to discover the world through touch, sight, sound, and movement at their own pace.

Classes are structured with a welcoming circle time, sensory exploration stations, guided art activities, songs, and opportunities for free play and social interaction. Caregivers actively participate alongside their babies, strengthening bonds while learning simple sensory activities they can recreate at home.

Throughout the class, babies build fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, early communication, and social-emotional development in a calm, supportive environment. Every activity is thoughtfully designed to be developmentally appropriate, engaging, and most importantly, fun—creating meaningful first art experiences that celebrate creativity, exploration, and connection.

Please keep your eyes out for the Welcome Packet sent out to families a few weeks before the semester starts, this contains important information about directions and liability forms!
