Tuesdays from 4pm-5pm, September 16th-November 11th
Designed for children 6-10
Session Length: 9 Weeks
All materials Included
At Art House, we focus on sustainability and creative reuse. Many of the materials used throughout the course are recycled, foraged, repurposed, or found objects. Students are encouraged to think creatively, experiment freely, and learn that interesting art does not require expensive supplies or unnecessary waste.
Through hands-on projects, children will explore a variety of mediums while building confidence in their artistic voice, problem-solving skills, and imagination.
A few of the projects that students will participate in during the Autumn Semester:
How to make paints from organic material
Exploring the art of weaving
Making stamps from scratch and printmaking
At the end of the course, students will bring home:
Their completed artwork
Printed guides outlining the materials used
Simple recaps explaining how each project was created
Our hope is that families will continue creating together long after the course ends.
Please note:
Classes are non-refundable
Make-up classes may be scheduled when available and are encouraged whenever possible.
Please keep your eyes out for the Welcome Packet sent out to families a few weeks before the semester starts, this contains important information about directions and liability forms!
